Who knows?
I DO think only one parent (or side of the pedigree!!!!!) can produce it.
If you look at literally ALL of our popular pedigrees you can find popular
sires, popular ROM dams, sibling of popular sires/dams w/ a missing tooth
or teeth. Sometimes you hear about it, sometimes you don't. And sometimes
you hear about it only after the fact when you run into trouble. (A person
might say to you "heck yeah, THAT'S where your issue came from!) Some
popular dogs I have seen finished can whistle <G>, and they have siblings
never
shown who can whistle and NO, I wouldn't/haven't knowingly used them even
though some of the progeny will obviously have full mouths.
And to complicate things, sometimes these thing skip a generation or two.
And to further complicate things sometimes other mouth issues (wry mouth,
"off" bites) are in the same lines.
I just try to do my homework and not double up.
