Several people have observed that the same dogs should not be eliglble for both. What about the new person who has their first GSD? If his dog is eligible for both, why can't they show in both? And, did I not see somewhere that there are two DIFFERENT judges for these events? As we all now, not everyone agrees about who the perfect dog is? And as we know, dogs/handlers have a way of humbling each other so a dog may look completely different in the other venue. JMHO...
