[ SHOWGSD-L ] Question: what was the criteria for the highest living ROM's?

Hi, I haven't been keeping up with THE DIGESTS, except to see everyone
bragging (and congrats to everyone) about their highest living ROM's going in
the
REDBOOK.
Does anyone know what the criteria was? ie: as of what date did or do the
dams have to be alive? I only know that Kena just died in April, and she had a
pretty high total, and I didn't know anything about this. Please email me
privately if you know anything about this. I would appreciate it. Thanks,
