I just neutered my GSD Koda at 10. He has always had the most gorgeous plush
standard coat but some months after his neuter he started shedding more than
normal. I thought it was mostly because of the AZ hot summer we endured. But
still losing coat now that it's much cooler. My thoughts are this sudden
decrease in losing those hormones have caused this? I don't know if there is
any merit in that thought or not but that's my thinking. His diet is still
the same, no stress of any kind. When I brush him now just tons of hair
comes out. I have to say he's much more relaxed now not having to worry in
finding bitches. I've not experienced this with other alters. Kathy
