Interesting...I am running into a lot of blankets (instead of saddles)  
coming down from an Army daughter who is recessive for black.  Her sons  have 
blankets and the one who has been bred so far produces mostly  blankets.  So 
wondering too if "blanket"is dominant over a  saddle. 
 
Fine by me although I did have one comment from an a/b handler that the  
dogs were getting TOO dark lol.
