I have a question about downed pasterns. I have read many of the articles about working on the downed pasterns, but have not seen the question raised about PREVENTING them. Does anyone have any ideas about what can be done to prevent them such as diet, etc., when the parents do not have downed pasterns, but the pups end up with them. Is there a prenatal influence, or supplement you can give or not give the little guys before they get them.
