I am with you, Ed, I don't even know what a partridge looks like. It must be
a bird. But why does he sit in a pear tree? There are no pears nor leaves on
the tree in the winter.
About the tail chasing, I think your mind wanders a little to the left - or
is it the right - or south?
Seriously, I have never encouraged tail chasing with my dogs because I have
seen some pretty chewed up tails as a result which in very extreme cases
need partial amputation of a tail. I love a beautiful GS tail.
