there is no danger to the puppy to do a barium test, but you should read up
on Mega , to learn about it as to causes and what can be done to prevent
it.

I am fairly new to the list. Had my first litter of 6 pups 4 weeks ago. All
are doing great except one. She is playful, alert and not dehydrated, but
since solid foods were introduced, this pup constantly regurgitates.
I have liquefied her food and have been feeding her in an upright position
on my lap. More often than not she would spit it up.
A Barium swallow is being suggested. Which is the only way the esophagus
can
be examined.
Can anyone enlighten me about the safety of this procedure for a pup this
age?
