A barium swallow is safe for a pup that age. I had 1 mega pup, and same
happened. Most breeders will tell you to put the pup down. I took my pup to the
vets to have her put down, and my vet asked if she could keep her. Today she is
3 years old, still has mega, but is used to eating a gruel in a standing
position. Still has weight problems. I don't feel this is always the answer. I
also had mom spayed, and never bred her again. I was told latter, Not by the
breeder I got her from, who also happened to be the owner of the Champion male
I used, that I should have tried her w/another male to see if it happened
again. Could have come from the sire.
