I know that Tish was asked to fill in by Margy when she was not going  to be 
able to make it to the meeting. Margy called in advance to give her  warning, 
before she was sure, then when Margy's dog was too sick, she made sure  Tish 
would cover for her.  I know that Tish was asked to finish up the last  meeting 
since Margy has been "removed" by the board.
 
As for Debbie, I know that she was asked to run because some of the board  
felt that Margy would not be able to run, or would resign. But, they cannot  
reverse what the nominating committee did, (even though they decided to reverse 
 
what the membership voted in electing Margy), and as of right now, Margy is  
going to run.  I doubt very much that Debbie intended to put herself in  this 
position.
 
But, Debbie does post to the List, and I will let her explain how she got  
there.
