This has always been my philosophy as well.? I feed raw and the dogs thrive on 
it.? However, I have 2 dogs that cannot tolerate raw.? I feed them either Eagle 
Pack Holistic or Canidae.? I have never fed Purina, Pedigree or Iam's even way 
back 30+ years ago.? I fed Eukanuba, way before it became commercial, and it 
was an awesome product for working dogs.? I have been thru many kibbles since 
then and have now found variations that work for me and my dogs.? I prefer raw 
as I know exactly what is going into my dogs.? But, every dog is different and 
one needs to find out what works for them and their dogs.?

You are right on the mark, Carol.  Find out what your dogs do best 

on and be happy. What ever works is what is right for your particular GSD.
