True enough...but it seems to cause heated arguments every year...both
before and after the National. And votes can be changed...
Also, air travel, even without dogs, is ridiculous these days.......and
airline personnel are not the least bit inclined to be helpful. Flights are
cancelled at the drop of a hat, and that's the least of the problems...we
already know that many airlines don't want to carry dogs, esp. dogs in 500
crates.......
St. Louis is at least central..........yeah, sure, it's far from the
left coast...but it's far from the east coast, too...
And it IS a hub, if not for some of our favorite airlines........
Makes no big difference to me....I just threw the thought out there.
At least if it were always in the same place people could plan ahead better
than they seem to be able to now.

The membership of the GSDCA voted to have the National rotated between West,
Central and East. Until the membership votes to have it in one location
only,
I feel strongly that it should be rotated as that is what the membership
voted for.
