[ SHOWGSD-L ] Puppy person in NYC

apartment in Harlem, NYC.  She wants a GSD puppy.  She says she understands
my concerns about a puppy in a New York City apartment,  but many people in
her apartment building have dogs and there is a dog park right across the
street from her.  I'm picturing someone trying to carry a big puppy up and
down stairs ( or elavator)  to go potty.  I'm very hesistant about this.  I
can see how this would work with a small breed....piddle pads and what
not...but I can't see this with a GSD.  Then again,  I've never lived in a
big city.  Opinions??  thanks.  Sue
