A very special friend of my mother's is looking for a pet for her 9 year old, profoundly autistic granddaughter. Grandmom quit working several years ago to help raise the little girl. The girl is NOT violent, or abusive. I had tried several years ago to encourage them to get a dog, that would be a "therapy" type dog. Hips and elbows of parents need to have been OFA'ed, etc. They live in the Chicago area, and don't mind driving a reasonable distance to look at the pups. Anyone have a good candidate?
