I don't use puppy food either, and don't recommend it to my puppy buyers.

For me the reason is, they do not need the amount of Protein that most
puppy foods have. Some puppy foods seem to have gotten better as I see
people using the large breed puppy foods these days and puppies looking
pretty
good on them despite the high protein. But I see no reason to spend the
$50-60 a bag when for 45 years I have not feed it and my pups have done
great.

Hey, we're weaning these kids from that in the natural way, so it's

I don't feed puppy food. My puppies always get what the adults get with
maybe a bit of extra meat and or cottage cheese. I am feeding Kirkland
Chicken and Rice right now but also feed Diamond Natural...
