[ SHOWGSD-L ] Puppy food

I guess its time for the dog food wars,  but I really need advice.  For years I 
fed Eagle Pack  Lg. and Giant breed puppy.  Well, of course, its a good product 
so they changed it.  Linda Arndt, the Great Dane lady,  no longer endorsed it.  
She now promotes Precise.  Unfortunately,  no one nearby is carrying Presise.  
So, any advice on Lg. breed puppy food?  I have to be careful there isn't an 
overabundance of calcium since we have so much in our water naturally.   I have 
tried Costco and ChickenSoup, but they poop way too much on that.  Performatrin 
by Pet Valu is a very nice food ( good stools and not over frequent)  but I'm 
worried about the calcium thing.  Sue T.
