 They want to schedule him for surgery.  I  believe he is too young to be 
traumatized by surgery that may not be  necessary.  The owner is worried and 
wants to do the right  thing.  Any thoughts out there?  I'd like to hear 
your collective opinions.

Every time I hear of this I hear a vet's cash register go cha ching.

If it gets worse by all means take care of it. We have "never" had one done 
and never had a problem but I'm sure someone has.

Sorry if I sound pessimistic about motives of some...
