Let's all thank Tish for putting the discourse in prospective here..........
If members of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America are "members of the
choir".......
.......then it certainly appears as though some of the "preaching" has been the
same as "preaching to the Choir".......
Rescue dogs become "rescue dogs" when some one abandons them.......
Not many, if any, of those kinds of people in the German Shepherd Dog Club of
America.
We are the "good guys", folks.
We love, nurture, cherish and train our dogs.
Now let's hear a chorus of "Amens".......
And head out towards to St. Louis.

I'm not sure why we are blaming those who are trying to breed quality animals
for the woes of dogs in rescue situations. In 2005 AKC registered
approximately 15,000 GSD litters. And if you think 5000 of those were bred by
members of the GSDCA (as does Norma), I have some swamp land I still own in New
Mexico which I would like very much to sell.
