[ SHOWGSD-L ] Puppies with coccidia

I have a litter of puppies that are five and a half weeks old. They have
coccidian and I normally give Albon pills for that as soon as they show
signs of it. They have loose stools, but are still eating and active,
just don't want them to get any worse. I do my own fecals . called my vet
who also takes care of my alpacas, and asked if I could use the liquid I
use for them for coccidian. He told me to go ahead and give the following
doses for five days: 4.4 mls per ten llbs the first day and then 2.2 mls
for the next four days for ten pounds of weight. The liquid I want to use
is Sulfadimethoxine in a concentration of 12.5
% and is equal to 3.75 g per fluid ounce.
Have any of you used this and did it work? I can easily weigh my pups and
have the syringes to measure it out exactly. Just want another opinion.
