That was so neat to read, and I have seen it happen
even with the very few litters I have had.
I have it now with 2 brothers I kept from my first
litter.
I have loved the one Mister T, since he was little----
gorgeous type and substance, temperament, working and
show potential, just more closer to my ideal...
BUT.....
his brother Mickey, a slower maturing, completely
different in most respects from his brother (but
beautiful sidegaiter and wonderful potential), not my
type usually,
but he determined from a very young age the only thing
that's important to him in this world is ME.....
and that makes me the luckiest person in the world.
:-)
Those silly puppies!! They know who they can sucker

It happened to me with my very first GSD........she
crawled up in my
lap and would NOT get down! I REALLY loved her
brother.........but I
would shoe her away and BOOM,there she was again.
Now, after almost 20
years of breeding I have seen this happen time and
time again. Pups are
aloof with some people and attached like Velcro to
others.
SO many times I have watched as people REALLY like
this one pup and
the pup........just basically ignores them. In the
back round is this
other pup that does all but jump up and
down........PICK ME.........YOU
WANT ME! It happened to Pat Evans, her article is in
the new Review. Can
some one explain to me how they know they want this
person? What is
going thru their little minds? They are babies, but
yet they KNOW they
want this person? Mo
