[ SHOWGSD-L ] Puppies

Well, it's been six years since I've had a litter (I've said that a million
times). They are three weeks old tomorrow and I just have to say that they
are the most beautiful puppies that I've ever seen in my life and I will
self admit... as of today (and probably forever) I'm the most kennel blind
person on the face of the earth at this point.
I feel like I have betrayed Kida (she has been the PERFECT mother). I fed
them for the first time tonight. They liked it. They are officially three
weeks old tomorrow. I mixed baby oatmeal, Gerber baby food (turkey I
think), and Carnation evaporated milk .... (thank you Liz). They loved it.
I took my fingers and gave it to each of them and they ate it like nothing
they've ever had (they haven't). They finished all of it.
I'm very grateful that I'm not working now because I'm enjoying this litter
like others that I have not because I was soooo busy and not ever stopping
to enjoy the great things in life. I love all of the puppies and they are
soooo cute and relaxing. I hope that they bring the same joy to other
people's lives that Kida has brought to mine... and I'm not talking about
success in the show ring (even though that was fun with Kida and I hope they
do the same for others). The babies are healthy, happy and as of tonight
full of my cooking (which is very, very scary ... pray that they survive!!
<G>).
Not sure why I sent this post .. I hope others enjoy their babies as much as
I'm enjoying this litter.....
