[ SHOWGSD-L ] Public Concept of GSD

Tue Story: Several years ago Nicky and I took Cassie to New York to show in
the Garden, had always wanted to do it and we did have fun. We stayed close
to the show site, Scott and Loren stayed up close to Central Park and we were
walking up to meet them. Cassie was taking in all the New York sights, smells,
and noise and since she is really fun to live with and sound we were all
having a nice stroll on a nice day.
Passed a homeless fellow selling pencils and as Cassie and I walked by him he
made this comment, "You know a couple of aspirin a day will cure that hip
dysplasia." I thought I would crack up, even the homeless know of problems in
our Breed.
We really must look in the mirror and laugh at ourselves now and then.
