I think you are deliberately missing the point. The "process" is inanimate,
and therefore has no responsibility.
If folks feel it's important to send a bio, they will, on time and in the
correct (100 word) format. Those are the rules in place, we don't need more
rules, we don't need to make anything complicated, and you did mention "fines"
for non-compliance in your original post. How silly!
If those running or looking to judge send a bio in, super; If not, oh well.
Sharon is too nice by far. I'd have sent Wayne's back with a cover letter
explaining he was 10 days late. If any bios arrived that were too long, I'd
have sent them back too. I don't know of a word processing program that
doesn't have work count as a feature, and for those who would rather count the
old fashioned way, if they can't count to one hundred, I suspect the
responsibilities of being on a board would be incomprehensible.
But, like I said, I think you're deliberately missing the point, and/or
playing stupid to continue the debate. If in fact you do live "taking
responsibility", the concept of following rules or suffering consequences
shouldn't be
foreign, and I'm surprised you'd try to make the argument for even more
rules. What nonsense!
