Quite simple really. It is, afterall the JUDGES ring to run the way he/or she sees fit! Barbara This just made me think of something similar and very funny. Last summer at a specialty show a young junior handler I am currently training was showing a bitch for me at an inside show. It was only this lads 2nd show out there, and I had told him to be sure he always followed judges instructions to the letter, and to listen carefully to the judge. The judge on this day instructed him to go around the ring and he told him he wanted to see him "drop the lead" at least once. Well you guessed it.....he started out, did one side of the ring, looked at the judge and dropped the lead to the ground for the rest of the round. Thank heavens my bitch was well trained to carry on. She looked lovely as she went by the way! Remember Walter?
