I was not even aware of it until the show was over. I was judging dogs. Are
we
as judges to penalize a dog because of its handler? Are we to say, â??that
handler already got his piece of the pieâ??â?¦no! Would that be fair to the
owners
of the next dog that handler exhibits? We are judging dogs and dogs only.
The
handler that wins a lot does so because they do their homework and job WELL.

Amen Helen!! I judged a show back east a few years ago and the people there
didn't know for sure what type of dogs liked . A very well known handler
didn't do very well under me but the next time i judged back there, this same
handler won just about everything. She knew from the first show what i liked
and
brought me exactly what i liked the second time around.When i judged the
Mexican National a couple of months ago, both the GVX and GV were half brother
/sister.The same exact type. The owners and their handler had studied the shows
that i had judged in the past and showed exactly what i liked. Now thats one of
the reasons you pay a professional handler to show your dogs. Bud
