I was buying Frontline Plus from my Vet. It wasn't touching ticks. Then, I
ordered Frontline Plus from an E-store in Canada and the stuff worked great.
Perhaps what the Vet was selling was counterfeit Frontline??? (Unknowingly, of
course.)
Some may remember that the EPA put out a warning re. counterfeit pesticide
products for dogs and cats that were being sold in the US.

me 3 pills to "test" on my 3 girls and to see if it would be worth it to
order this product. I gave it to the 3 girls and one girl I used a topical
called
Promeris. Each of them worked for about 3 weeks. Then all of the girls were
back to scratching and I was finding some flea dirt. I bath the girls every
other week, Maddie had more since she was at shows for 3 of the 4 weekends.
It is going to be pricey and my opinion is that if I only have one dog, yes I
would probably consider it, but it was cost prohibitive for more than 1-2
dogs. I think I will stick with the topicals and do it every three weeks
instead
of every 4 weeks. And I am investing in Guineas and a some chickens!

Has anyone heard of it and/or tried it? I've used bio-spot (which didn't do
a thing for my dog) but this new pill the dog swallows. Wouldn't you think
that would be bad? It works for the inside out. If it's strong enough to kill
the fleas on the outside, what is it doing to the inside of the dog?
What are your feelings on this? I need to get something else to try on our
old dog.
