One word Ed........STANDARD........
I have no problem with the white dogs. I owned one. However, It is a DQ.
Therefore they are not eligible for the Highest of the PC awards. Give them
their AKC awards, but they are not eligible for the PC highest awards.
Period.
Bob many want to exclude the excellence of an obedience dog for nothing
other than some arbitrary issue in his "conformation" that has A nothing to
do withal his brain...I was h the Warriors still had Jeremy Lin ....do
the survey if you have not done so already.....I'll post the results on

He was born from Asian American parents, grew up in California north of the
affluent Silicon Valley, home to Apple, Google, Ebay and many more. He
thought he was a basketball player but decided to go to Harvard just incase
the basketball thing didn't work out...how many Asian Americans play in the
National Basketball Association?....they don't meet "the standard"...after
graduating from Harvard none of the NBA teams drafted him....his local team
The Golden State Warriors decided to give this 22 year a chance....he was a
fan favorite!....but the powers that run the club decided that even though
the fans loved this man, he was not up to the standards needed for the
Warriors to get better ( footnote...the Warriors have been one of the worst
teams in the league for about 20 years) so they cut him from the team this
year.....not to be denied....he signed a contract with the New York
Nicks...he started his first game last Monday!....he and his team have won
the past 4 games with Li
n outplaying super stars.....including kicking Kobe Bryant's butt!...ESPN
is going crazy!....who is this Man?...How is he doing this?....yeah I
know....my analogy with Lin and the Obedience DQ is very shaky.......but the
activity of"Â human/K-9Â obedience" is perhaps the closest relationship of
communication we have with any other species.......to work a dog to the
level of supremacy, to defeat all others but still be denied because of a
quality that has nothing to do with activities involved in the chosen
activity......my second ex-wife has a black lab guide dog "Woodson".....I
don't know what his conformation pluses and minuses are...but his obedience
work ethic to guide my ex through the streets of San Jose.....there is no
dog on earth that I love more than him.......perhaps we need to look at
why so many want to exclude the excellence of an obedience dog for nothing
