As most of you know by now, My 16 year old daughter, Danielle was diagnosed
with Clear Cell Sarcoma at the end of June this year. She was diagnosed at
DuPont Children?s Hospital, as received her first round of chemo there. We
have since been moved to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital. There she
received 3 more round of chemo and 5 weeks of Radiation. We came home a few
days ago for a 2 weeks break and will go back on Oct.10 and will have scans
for a couple of days. She will then have surgery on October 14th. The
surgery will involve removing her entire right lung, 2-3 ribs and her inner
chest wall.
We are praying that when they go in ,they will remove dead tumor and nothing
will have live regions. If that is the case she will just receive Chemo
afterwards. IF there are live regions she will have to receive radiation as
well as chemo. If radiation is needed we will have to stay in Memphis TN
and if she only needs chemo we could do that at DuPont.
So please keep us all in your prayers. God has been good!
