A very nice lady purchased an 8 month old, male show puppy from me last
week. However, we are trying to determine the best time to actually send
himto his new home. He has been attending handling classes to get him ready
for his first show (which is in the end of June) and we are wondering if
sending him to a new home will cause a setback in his training?

He seems to "really" like his new 'mom', and she will continue bringing him
to handling classes (or meeting us there to spend time with him) either way.
So, here is the question for all you experienced breeders. When you sell a
young adult shortly before their first show, is it a better idea to keep
themuntil after the show? After that show, his next won't be until Sept, so
he would have lots of time to adjust.

Thanks! I'm sure all your input will be very helpful.
