Here's my grandfathers recipe for marinated vegetable medley: Take a cup or a pound, or as much as you can get your hands on of equal portions of: Cauliflower Brussel sprouts Broccoli Lima beans Turnips and lots of parsley. Place in a large pan and cover with marinade: One part vinegar Two parts wine, you choice Salt Pepper Oregano and cumin Place pan and contents on the window ceil over night, allowing the cool fall breezes to flow over it. Make sure all the vegetables are covered with the marinade. In the morning, go to the window and check to make sure there are no flies or other bugs in the mix, they push it out the window close the window and cooks some bacon and eggs for breakfast. He did love his vegetables. Dave ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2012.
