Hi Guys I have a 13 mo old male GS puppy that developed a small pea-sized hairless pink bump on his nose just above the margin of his nares, and on the right side of his muzzle about two weeks ago. At first I thought it was an ingrown whisker, but it is too high up. It has enlarged to a degree, and is firm. It more flat than rounded, and has clear borders on the edges. It is in my estimation , feeling high up under his upper lip about 2 to 3 mm , but that is a guess. . No discharge, no itching, no oozing. It is smooth, not cauliflower or wart-like. It is mostly pink with a red dot . Doesn't seem to be sore or bother him...to my knowledge, he has not been bitten by anything nor does he seem to have a foreign body there. He is a housedog, but has not come into contact with any caustic or toxic sprays etc. I am taking him to the vet tomorrow....anyone have this happen? I have never encountered this before. Ideas, comments welcomed. Kathy Tank -- http://www.victorygermanshepherds.com Ch.
