Many (and I do mean many) years ago I lived outside of Merced, CA and among
other farm animals I had pigs. We had a young Hamp gilt who was clearly far
smarter than her Yorkshire "brothers". So I started training her along with
the Gallant of Arbywood daughter I had. Betsy was smart and very quick to
learn. It was more work as I had to keep it interesting while the GSD would
perform because I asked her to. I learned a lot about motivation from her.
