If you are selling a pet puppy why not spay/neuter before you sell?? Are you so trusting of people that buy your pups? Have you never been back stabbed Carolyn? Think of the bigger picture. If the pup/dog you just sold is NOT show quality, fix it so that X's or backyard PB's won't come into existence. Bottom line I ask is, why not fix if the pup is NOT going to be bred? Why not? Colleen Donnelly ************************************************** I'm not an idiot Colleen........ BOTTOM Line starts with the type of buyers you place pups with!!! It takes a lot of time and turning down a lot of people. I spend a lot of time trying to educate those that I KNOW we will not sell a puppy to for whatever reason. Yes...I DO trust those we place them with!!!! BOTTOM LINE.......No...I will not put a baby through the surgery......I am more concerned with socializing them and evaluating their personalities for the right homes and placing them in wonderful homes, than putting them through any surgery before they are even develeoped mentally or physically. Caring homes are what matters most to me. Tomorrow is another day........I may get "stabbed" some day.....( but I still won't make every puppy after that pay with early surgery ) ........most of our pet buyers become friends who check in with news about their pups all the time and stop by to show us how wonderful they think they are or send photos. THAT is what matters to me. Carolyn marhaven@xxxxxxx www.marhaven.com Carolyn <marhaven@xxxxxxx> wrote: I personally wouldn't neuter or spay a 9 - 12 week old puppy! Make sure they know ahead of time........ALL PETS GO ON LIMITED AKC Reg.!!! It's just so simple.............
