Being forced out by term limits unless a ballot measure in February extends
his possible tenure, Levine is running for the Senate seat being vacated by
Sheila Kuehl next year.
PetPac did yeoman's work in defeating 1634 and deserves major kudos'.
The fact that Levine is running for Sheila Kuehl's seat presents a problem
all of the groups throughout the State need to confront. Sheila Kuehl and
Lloyd Levine were cut from the same bolt of cloth. Ms. Kuehl would have
voted for 1634 in an instant.
That said...dog and animal people banded together to defeat Jackie Speir for
her Lt. Governor run last primary so it can be done. Are there enough pro
pet pro animal voters in the 1000 Oaks district to defeat Lightbulb Lloyd?
It will be up to groups like RALEEF, NAIA, CFODC, and PetPac to stir and
keep that pot filled and boiling between NOW and the election.
A NO vote for "Lightbulb Llloyd" is a PRO vote for animal owners throughout
the State of Caleefornia.
