Every time I've flown with a dog, they always take the dog out of the crate
and pat down both the dog and the crate. Actually, at the Milwaukee
airport, most of the ATA guys (and gals) fight with each other to see who
gets the priviledge as soon as they learn they are show dogs. The last time
we flew back, they came and got me and took me off the plane first with the
leash and the collar to get the dog before the rest of the passengers
unloaded! Well, Midwest Express IS the best care in the air (and I don't
work for them either!)

ps.. I never get on the plane until I watch the dog loaded and sometimes the
flight/gate attendants have other names for me. :-)
