hold your breath and keep your fingers crossed! You do the same when Evan
picks a jury....
Over the years, and after over 200 jury verdicts, I have decided, no one
knows how to pick a jury. The same goes for breeding dogs, but in both
instances you can limit the odds.
You don't breed two dogs with lines to Hip dysphasia, or with both
parents who died young.
When you pick a jury, you don't accept people who say police never lie, or
who believe everyone in a jail jump suit is guilty.
I have only one time had a jury get it wrong, even if I tried my best to
go the other way. Somehow, the jury system works.
Now, with OJ, I have a problem. I represented the police officer who
overheard the confession to Rosie Greer, and I also represented a member of
the
jury.
The jury got it right.
I say that knowing he was guilty.
The jury is to only decide if the prosecution proved the defendant guilty
beyond a reasonable doubt. They decided the district attorney did not do
that. They didn't decide if the Juice was not guilty, that was not what
they were to do. They made a determination according to the law. He was not
proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
As to breeding German shepherds, it is a lot easier. You just do your best
with the information you have, then take a chance. We are currently taking
a chance with the 14 Exxon puppies at our house. It helps to see the Exxon
puppies now winning in the ring, (two great males out of an Asgard bitch,
(Grand Champion Asgard's Jill ROM). The Heat and Arson are two fantastic
Exxon sons, and that gives us hope.
Our Exxon pups are three weeks old tomorrow. And even if not yet
champions, fun to play with.
I don't want much, just a biased jury in my client's favor and a dog worth
showing.
