JUST KEEP her off of ANY KIND of slippery surface. Keeping her on a plush
carpet would be best. Keep her nails a bit longer too. NO NEWSPAPER. She
will come back up in 2 weeks. IF going to supplement, use CCM+Dogzymes from
www.naturesfarmacy.com . Miracle Stuff.

Hello everyone,
I have a 4 week old puppy (singleton litter) & due to unforeseen
circumstances she had to be hand raised. She developed aspiration Pneumonia at
just
shy of 3 weeks old, she almost died. It took her about 4 days of even start
to bounce back from that scare. Her developmental progress was a bit delayed
by the illness I think. She's walking now & is very active but her pasterns
down (not flat but pretty weak). I am associating this with her muscles being
so weakened by illness when she was learning to walk, as I have never had this
appear so young in any of my previous litters. So, I thought I would ask the
list to see if there might be hope for her pasterns after being down at such
a young age & if so what could I try to maybe help them along.
