Thank you "Sam", Leslie and the fancy for the opportunity to present "my
Capri", (Debonair's Surprize Package), in the Parade of Great Dogs. This
was a first for me and what a thrill to see her in the ring with some of my
all time favorites as Ivana, Bono, Scoop, Run Around Sue, Joe Black, Crissy
and of course Jim and Eve. Some of the dogs we competed with, some not, but
what a thrill to see them all again as well as to see all the performance
dogs and their handlers, whose accomplishments were truly inspiring and as
such I can only dream.
I must confess my nervousness to once again see Capri in the ring. It truly
was a dream come true to be in such "grand company" and to see her after
three years hit the end of Leslie's lead and "give it her heart" as always.
Driving down to the show from PA - I was so sure she wouldn't remember!
Remember? WOW did they ALL - that last lap, I must say - to see them ALL
pass against that wall - I will treasure that sight forever, it still gives
me chills! Thanks everyone, Ann
