[ SHOWGSD-L ] Parade Cost v. Select Price

I would gladly pay $75, or even a bit more, to present my dog, to the Fancy, in
the Parade of Greats, but, I will NOT pay the $5,000+ three different handlers
have told me I would need to pay, up front, for them to put a Select on my dog.
No thanks. I don't have THAT much fun at the National!! I will stick with
handlers who do their best with my dog, period.
So, Mike, you are right....It is my fault that my dog isn't eligible for the
Parade of Greats. What was I thinking???
Other Parent Clubs have beautiful presentations at their Nationals of the top
20-25 dogs in the breed each year. Those owners do feel recognized and
appreciated.
I will never do this with a GSD, again.
