My dear Jane....
For one thing, it shouldn't even enter your mind whether a candidate
likes you, or likes your dogs. First of all, who couldn't like you, or
at least what you stand for?
For another, electing someone to office or a position on the Board
doesn't mean you have to enter your dogs when that person judges, IF
that person judges.
So - vote for the one(s) you truly believe in your heart that will
do the best they can for the club, and for the breed....if you remove
yourself and your dogs from
the thought process, it will be a lot easier.
My probably never-even- eligible-to-be-a-saint full-blooded Gypsy
grandfather always said "I'll let anybody buy me a beer...but I won't
buy a beer for a man I
don't respect." Look at it that way...and you won't need your attic
companions to make your choices.
