Someone asked me why would I test my dogs. I simply want to know, and if
there is anything I can do to make sure my dogs are well, you betcha I am
going to do it. Not to mention the fact that we have 2 dogs standing at stud,
and this is all new to me. Now I understand better about all the people
with their dogs on enzymes. What I dont understand is why is this not a
topic of conversation, and why is pancreatic testing not part of the
Recommended Test for Breed with OFA, like hip, elbows, dm, etc.
Judging by their site, the best dog to have is a Havanese....they hardly
recommend any testing for that breed....<G>

I don't know of anyone routinely checking for this, Sue, but rest assured
that all out dogs will be tested as soon as we get the info. As much for
knowledge as for my peace of mind. And yes, that includes pets, rescues and
show dogs ( who really are pets <G>)
