I had heard that it had been a major fault in the ring. Do judges fault
this when they see it? Or do they ignore the fact that they are pacing and
just simply look at the overall comformation of the dog?

I just yell, "He's pacing" and let the handler deal with it. Why would
anyone fault it? It isn't the dog's fault.

I don't agree with everything being said about the pace. Every dog can
pace. Only the correct ones will show the flying trot. The correct ones will
pace as well.
