Our standard says STRONG RICH COLORS ARE PREFERRED;;Pale washed out colors are
serious faults..So if you see cream or light tan it is leading to getting too
pale..So in breeding look to see if the nails are light and other signs like a
lot of white on the chest etcThere is a reason for breeding for strong pigment
set in the standard..Not by me but the original founders of the breed....So it
is a strong factor in breeding Barbara Amidon
