i have not seen animals for sale in petco, either in california or in
illinois. petco does work with rescues, thru the petco foundation, and
sponsors
adoption days for various rescues. (on those adoption days, each rescue is
100%
responsible for their dogs.) in order for a rescue to become affiliated with
petco, an application process must be completed so that all participating
groups are verifiably NFP.
