That is actually a smart move on his part, No?? He got the dog he wanted, a
GSD.? Rather than give in and decide against this choice, he decided to
compromise and get a shelter dog.? He has the staff and trainers to work with
the dogs so what is the big deal?? He is a politician.? That is what they do,
try to make everyone happy.? As long as the dogs are happy, healthy and well
cared for, I don't care what he gets or where he gets them.? JMHO.
As for Oprah, PETA is trying to make a statement.? They know Oprah is tight
with Obama.? They want her to influence his decisions regarding a puppy.? If
Obama gets a shelter dog, they will take all the credit.? They will say their
influence?made him decide.? It won't matter that?Obama found the right,
hypo-allergenic dog at a shelter (highly unlikely) or?from a puppy mill.? It
will only matter that he gets a?pup from anything other than a breeder.? PETA
is trying to get their foot in the door NOW and then lobby for all their AR
agendas in the future.? Sneaky Bast****.? ?
