We have always buried our dogs on our property.. even though I expect it
isn't allowed...If they aren't buried here, then they are privately
cremated.. not in the mass cremations that occur. When I was a kid, and
although we weren't allowed.. we used to sneak over to the local garbage
dump, where they had a garbage burning facility.. on certain days the dead
dogs would be piled HIGH, ready for the mass cremation.. There were men who
would chase us off if they saw us, but we saw them.. opening the door to the
incinerator and throw the dogs in like yesterday's garbage. YUCK!! Not for
my dogs!! I am quite sure it isn't like that now, but it left a memory that
I never want to be part of..
