To puppy mills, dogs are just considered livestock a way to make a buck. To
Peta they are just disposable. I believe that to most of us on this list, they
are a big part of our lives, and that makes a huge difference, no matter how
many dogs you have. I think that what we do with our dogs when they die has a
lot to do with how we feel about death and an after life.
I have had all of my dogs cremated. When I die I will also be cremated and they
will be scattered on the mountain with me. Maybe we will wander these hills
together forever, to me that would be heaven. I can't think of better company.

think some will cremate. Puppymills don't give a crap, so they will do the
PETA thing. Some breeders bury their friends under a favorite tree or some
other favorite spot looking out at Scenic beauty, and meditate and visit their
friend. People who CANNOT deal with death, bring their friend to a Vet, and let
the Animal Hospital dispose of their pet.
Every one of my dogs that have died, have been cremated. When I die, I want
them buried with me.
