The Civic Center in Monroe, LA is a pet friendly evacuation center. At last count yesterday we had approximately 400 pets there (dogs, cats, snakes, iguanas, birds, hampsters, etc) with more on the way. I carried about 700#'s of dog food there and donated it from the kennel club and Pine Hills Feed store. Our kennel club has set up a relief fund for those who are interested. Contributions can be sent to: Katrina animal relief.
