This really points out something that is important beyond the information (Very
interesting, by the way.... TY, Rebecca... didn't know) Those who are writing
these laws have no husbandry experience, they don't know the details of
agribusiness or animal farming. They just want people not to use animals in
any fashion, so play on the emotion and the lack of knowledge of those who are
voting with their hearts (and I understand that) instead of logic.
I ask again... how do you feed the millions of kids in the cities? How do you
get them their milk? They can't go to the local coo-op or the nearby small
farmer's market.
And from where do all the dogs the public want come?.... Cant all be provided
from the hobby breeders' 5% of the pups sold.
Answer these while I go get my second cup of coffee?

You are sadly misinformed...YES expensive cows are milked and I know this
for a FACT, I have seen a cow worth over $100,000 with a milking machine on
her pumping away! They are prized for their milk fat and protien. They are
not just for show. What do you think one of the things they judge in a dairy
cow is...their utter and they don't get one of those unless they are
milking! My hubby was a NYS champion for dairy judging.
