Every year, we have one or two complaints about the Rescue
Parade taking up too much time and that it delays exhibitors getting on the
road for their long drive home from Northern California to points south or
wherever.
We make that drive home each year. However, the tears and smiles from this
parade of rescue dogs is more important than a little extra time on the road. I
would love to start earlier, due to the fact we are in a motel anyway.
But, if it causes any problem with the rescue presentation, I will drive the
extra time.
